Different Diamond Engagement Ring Styles to Choose From

Last updated 5 days ago

When choosing your engagement ring it might seem as simple as picking the diamond cut and colour and leaving it at that, but in fact you need to take it one step further and pick the style of ring as well. If you are unsure of which style of ring is right for you, have a read of these popular style favourites.

Solitaire

The classical beauty and elegance of solitaire rings is what makes then the most popular style of ring when it comes to engagement rings. Solitaire diamond rings are traditionally set with one dominant stone in the middle of the ring and can also include small clusters of stones on either side of the main gem. Whether you choose a round, princess or pear shaped diamond the solitaire style of ring is a timeless classic.

Eternity

The eternity style of ring is a lot simpler than other styled rings but still has meaningful significance. The design is comprised of a simple white or yellow gold band that is scattered with multiple gemstones all the way around the band. Eternity rings are predominantly worn by women as a sign of eternity, love and partnership and are usually given as a gift by their partner or husband on their wedding day or as an anniversary gift.

Three stone ring

The trinity style of ring consists of three round, emerald, oval or lucinda cut stones positioned in the middle of the white or yellow gold band. Depending on the preference of the wearer the three stones can be comprised of all diamonds or be a mix of diamonds and coloured precious stones. The three individual stones are said to represent the past, the present and the future of the relationship of the wedded couple.

If you’re thinking about spending your life with that special someone, diamonds are the first choice to show them how much you care. For more information and for a range of engagement rings in Joondalup, Perth contact The Diamond Club on (08) 6555 3199.
